Children and Youth
At West End we are dedicated to providing a safe haven and a nurturing environment for children and youth.
Our Sunday School, which meets during the school year, welcomes all children of the neighborhood.
Occasional weekday activities offer opportunity for further socializing and fun, particularly at holiday times.
Our occasional youth activities seek to provide peer support, mentoring, and good times.
Throughout the year, we urge all children and young people to attend and participate fully in our Sunday worship services. Some of our very active adults can remember when they were a part of our youth group and have now become church officers and/or committee members.
Some adults find their way gradually into our midweek activities after attending worship on Sundays.
Others begin with one of the activities and later join us in Sunday worship.
The programs are for all ages of adults and all stages of spiritual maturity.
No one pretends to be an expert, and no one is left behind as a beginner.
